I am looking for:
watch  clock  repair shop  stores & dealers
AWCI certified  with web site  . Display max. records.
City:  State/
Province:
Zip/
Postal Code:

Fill in the appropriate fields above to find watch and clock repair stores or dealers in your area. The fewer fields that you fill in above, the more results will be obtained from your search. For the maximum number of results, only fill in one field, such as the Zip/Postal code. Partial entries will be matched with City, State/Province and/or Zip/postal code. For example, if you type 021 for Zip/Postal Code and click search, you will get every Zip/postal code that starts with 021; or if you type 02180 you will get only those records with a Zip code that matches 02180. If you are in an area with Zip/postal codes where the first two characters are not identical, you will want to do a search on each of those partial zip codes to maximize your results.

AWCI is the premier international organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the highest standards of workmanship in the horological crafts. It is the role of AWCI to set the standard of excellence to be applied to the quality of instruction for both the restoration and repair practices that are taught worldwide to watchmakers and clockmakers.

Formed out of the watch industry, AWCI was organized in 1960 as the American Watchmakers Institute (AWI) as this nation's first unified horological organization. It combined the members of the United Horological Association of America (UHAA) with those of the Horological Institute of America (HIA) to form AWI. However, with the continual influx of clock related interest into the organization, a name change was recommended by the Affiliate Chapters in 1992 and was formally changed in 2003 to American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute.

AWCI is located in Harrison, Ohio (near Cincinnati, Ohio) where we have our headquarter offices, training class rooms, research library and museum.

AWCI provides a valuable service on this web site called a Referral Directory where you can find experienced and certified watch and clock repair shops in your area if that is the purpose of your inquiry. You can also find member dealers and stores with web sites who are dedicated to supporting the horological industry and sell quality timepieces to the public. Finally, members can also find associates of the trade in the Referral Directory by using the above search form.

Member web sites will benefit both by being in AWCI's Referral Directory and by being listed on AWCI's member links page.
